A black and white image from the Faroe Islands taken before dawn. Getting all the way down to the sea in the dark was difficult as the ground was just sharp and slippery rocks, but well worth the effort. The large waves were breaking against the rugged shoreline, and smoothed out by a long exposure they appeared like veils floating in the air creating a stark contrast between the dark rocks. I really like the dark and primordial mood this image has.
