A close-up image of the ceiling in a basalt rock cave in Iceland. Basalt is a hard, black volcanic rock which is formed when a certain type of lava cools quickly creating this type of hexagonal shapes.

I love the graphical look of the rock and how the lighter rocks in the center draws the eye. I think this works beautifully as a dark abstract image.

The framed prints are available in two sizes

Size

The framed image is available in two sizes. The size refers to the glazed area inside the frame, including the print and the mount which is 5 cm | 2" wide.

The optimal size depends on the viewing distance, but in general the larger one works well on it's own and the smaller one as part of a group of prints hung together.
